OPEN ROLE 1
Residential Director
We are seeking an experienced, energetic, and deeply committed Residential Director to lead and manage an individualized daily living support program for a young adult on the autism spectrum. This is a full-time, salaried position with a desired two-year commitment, reporting to the legal guardians of the resident.
The Residential Director is the cornerstone of the program. You will build and lead a small team of Direct Support Professionals, oversee every aspect of daily life and program delivery, and serve as the primary point of coordination for healthcare and other service providers. It is preferred, though not required, that the Residential Director live on-site.
This is a role for someone who leads with both professionalism and heart, and who understands that those two things are inseparable in this work.
OPEN ROLE 2
Direct Support Professional
We are seeking experienced, energetic, and passionate Direct Support Professionals to join the team supporting a young adult on the autism spectrum in a private, independent living setting. This is a part-time, hourly position reporting to the Residential Director, with evening and overnight shifts as part of the regular schedule.
As a DSP at Higher Ground Housing, you will work as part of a unified support team, providing hands-on coaching and assistance across all aspects of an individualized daily living program, from self-care and meal preparation to community outings, vocational activities, and social engagement.
This is a role for someone who brings professional experience and genuine enthusiasm in equal measure.
