Higher Ground Housing was founded on a simple but powerful conviction:

We are building a professional, structured, and deeply human residential model for young adults with disabilities.

The independent living model at Higher Ground Housing is designed around one big idea:
Support should expand a person's world. Not limit it.
Our residential director and direct support professionals function as a unified team, working seamlessly together in every aspect of daily life. Each member brings professional expertise and genuine passion for the work, and they put it to use every day.
Getting out into the community. Pursuing vocational and creative activities. Staying physically active. Building the daily living skills that make independence possible.
